Transfer Tools
Explore Seattle University’s Transfer Tools, including the Transfer Equivalency Guide and information on transferring credits from other institutions.
Course content and credit are accepted in transfer; the associated grades do not become a part of your Seattle University record. When only content is transferred, the transfer course is used to satisfy a Seattle University requirement, but the credit earned does not count toward your total number of degree credits at Seattle University.
For information on how courses transfer into the University Core Curriculum, please see the University Core Curriculum (2012-01) policy.
The maximum number of transfer credits accepted for undergraduate students is 135, comprising of 90 lower division credits (this includes AP/IB/CLEP/DANTES and military coursework) and 45 upper division credits.
