About the IBC
The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is a faculty-led committee comprising experts in various bioscience and biosafety fields and unaffiliated members of the community. The IBC is responsible for reviewing and overseeing research and teaching activities that involve recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid molecules in accordance with the NIH Guidelines.
