Our off-site academics offer benefits no classroom can. Would you like to wear mud boots and explore marine ecosystems during our summer study program in the San Juan Islands? Or maybe you prefer exploring national parks in the mountains as part of our program in India? Explore our off-site experiential learning opportunities below.

Blakely Island Field Station

We provide an opportunity for students to take courses in marine ecology, conservation biology, environmental physiology, aquatic ecology, marine botany and environmental biology during the summer at this Salish Sea research site north of Seattle.

Students and faculty live at the research station in the San Juan Islands and are immersed in the island's ecosystems during each 12-day course.
