Seattle University College of Science and Engineering (CSE) is where innovation meets humanity. Guided by our commitment to inclusive excellence, growth, innovation and whole-person education, our faculty play a vital role in fueling student success. At Seattle University, exceptional teaching is tied to our mission, encouraging intellectual discovery and inspired pedagogy. Our faculty conduct scholarship that provide students with unparalleled opportunities to work and learn side-by-side with them and make meaningful contributions to solving real-world challenges.
In this newsletter, I’m excited to share some of the latest developments aligned with our CSE strategic plan. As rapid shifts in student engagement and the use of AI presents opportunities across the higher education landscape, we remain focused on educating future leaders by:
- Growing with the computing, data and information ecosystem in Seattle.
- Infusing innovation and expanding experiential learning opportunities for all our students.
- Fostering access and excellence in STEM education and research in line with our Jesuit tradition.
As we celebrate the many accomplishments of our faculty, staff, students and alumni, I invite you to join us on campus to see firsthand how innovation meets humanity at Seattle University College of Science and Engineering.
