A Note from Dean Shukla

Seattle University College of Science and Engineering (CSE) is where innovation meets humanity. In this newsletter, I’m excited to share some of the latest developments aligned with our CSE strategic plan. As rapid shifts in student engagement and the use of AI presents opportunities across the higher education landscape, we remain focused on educating future leaders by:

1. Growing with the computing, data and information ecosystem in Seattle. 
2. Infusing innovation and expanding experiential learning opportunities for all our students. 
3. Fostering access and excellence in STEM education and research in line with our Jesuit tradition.
