Marketing Communications (MarCom) at Seattle University serves as a strategic partner to all academic and administrative units across campus. The department provides integrated solutions to meet the university’s marketing and communication needs, helping to promote and protect the SeattleU brand. Acting as a central hub for messaging and media, MarCom plays a key role in building and strengthening both internal and external relationships. One of its key initiatives is overseeing the Web Team, which is divided into two groups: the Strategy Group and the DevOps Group. The Strategy Group focuses on content, digital design, branding, and governance using data-driven insights, while the DevOps Group handles the technical operations of the website, including development, maintenance, training, and support. Together, these groups ensure a consistent, effective, and engaging digital presence for the university across all platforms.
