Curriculum Notes

  • Courses included in a specialization cannot satisfy requirements elsewhere in the major.
  • The choice of a specialization should be made before the completion of 90
    credits toward the degree and must be certified by submitting an “Program
    Add/Drop/Change (e-form)” form to the Office of the Registrar.
  •  20 credits of specialization electives: ENSC 1500 and 15 credits of
    specialization elections:   BIOL 2350*, 2520*, 3650*, 3800*, 4650* or an approved course from Blakely Island Field Studies or another university, EVST 3700 or 4640, or Special Topics courses approved by the department. *These courses will require BIOL pre-requisites.
  • Several EVST courses are offered multiple times a year, students should refer to the tentative course offerings when creating their educational plan.
