Chemical Science, BS, Two-Year Plan
Transfer plan for the Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
Sample Plan for New Students
The example below assumes that you enter Seattle University with junior standing (90 credits), have earned a transferable associate degree, and have successfully completed the following:
- A full year of General Chemistry, Calculus, and Calculus-based Physics
- Students with an associate degree may have additional core requirements depending on community college coursework.
- If you have already taken a full year of Organic Chemistry, your junior year will focus on completing Math and Physics requirements, and you will take CHEM 3000 and CHEM 4985 in the Fall quarter. CHEM 3510/11 and CHEM 3520/21 will replace Organic Chemistry in Winter and Spring quarters.
This is a sample and not the only way to complete this plan. *Some classes have prerequisites.
