College of Nursing Undergraduate Advising
We assist students with educational planning and progression through the nursing and diagnostic ultrasound programs.
The College of Nursing’s Undergraduate Advising team fosters a dynamic advising experience to promote a student’s journey to becoming a healthcare professional. We aim to enhance the academic journey by cultivating genuine relationships that build trust and support the well-being of each student by creating a welcoming and inclusive space. We are happy to advise on academic plans, registration, graduation requirements, campus resources, and more!
How can academic advising help me?
Work closely with your academic advisor to map out your degree plan to make sure you are on track to graduate. Reflect on your personal skills and interests and how they meet your academic goals.
Regardless of whether you're coming right out of high school or if you’ve taken college level classes before, the transition to college is a big life event. We’re here to support you in and outside of the classroom and connect you with resources and services to get the most out of your education.
Prepare for registration each quarter with guidance from your advisor. Advisors can help you address common registration issues, understand registration restrictions, and assist with long-term planning.
Learn about university policies and procedures that inform your academic progress. Your advisor is available to answer questions, sign and process forms, and guide you through complex decisions on your path to a degree.
