How to Apply
You may apply for the Diagnostic Ultrasound, Bachelor of Science (BS) degree major as an incoming first-year student or as a junior-level transfer student from another college. If you have already earned a bachelor's degree may apply for the Diagnostic Ultrasound Post-Baccalaureate degree or Post-Baccalaureate Certificate.
The application deadline is February 1 for fall quarter transfer admission.
All application materials must be received by the deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Both applications request a list of coursework in progress, a ranking of General (abdomen extended, OB/GYN), Vascular or Cardiac tracks and essays describing your interest in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Seattle University.
All students have the opportunity to rank their interest in a general (abdomen extended, OB/GYN), vascular or cardiac sonography track focus.
- To apply as an incoming first-year student, contact the Seattle University Admissions Office
- To apply as a transfer student or post-bacc student for the BS degree, post-baccalaureate degree, or post-baccalaureate certificate, contact Transfer Admissions or email us.
- Internal transfers (students who have already started at SU) may be considered for admission on a space-available basis due to the constraints with clinical placements and the need to limit the size of each cohort. Spaces for internal transfers are rarely known until late in the school year and are highly variable.
