About this Program
This program prepares you for certification either as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner. Learn the skills to bring comprehensive primary care for all ages and populations to a variety of environments. The program provides a deep understanding of health care’s complex systems and challenges plus opportunities to apply evidence-based research to practice.
Certifications
Graduates of the PD Certificate in Family Nurse-Adult Gerontology Primary Care are eligible to sit for both the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) certification exams offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).
