Cost of Attendance & Financial Need

Federal law requires colleges and universities to provide the Cost of Attendance (COA), which is the total estimated price to attend for one year. The COA includes both direct (billed by the university) and indirect (not billed by the university) costs incurred during an academic year.

The following is a sample student budget for the nine-month academic year for a full-time student (9 credits at $890 per credit). Please note that the tuition rate listed is an average rate. To calculate your specific program's tuition rate, find the per credit rate from the graduate tuition tab above and multiply it by the total number of credits to be taken during the academic year.

*Enrollment requirements and tuition rates for graduate students vary program-by-program so actual tuition and book costs vary widely from this budget sample.
