Profile

Background

Job Description

I am the President and CEO of Nitax Services, Inc. I have been with the Company since 2010, and have helped the business expand and grow by 450% over the last 10 years. Since then, we’ve made it our goal to be one of the top CPA firms for small businesses in the Seattle Community. We’re building a modern firm with a good work culture, balanced hours (we value time, and believe family comes first), embracing technology, trying to build a tax & advisory practice without a busy season (?!?) and competitive pay. Since I joined we’ve grown 450%, and I have had the pleasure of bringing in talent from GT, Deloitte, etc. to our firm. We’ve also had the pleasure of having our talent land jobs at prestigious firms like Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, Conrad Sweeney, etc.

Company Description

Our CPA Firm provides advisory services to local small businesses in the Seattle area. Our team is comprised of three core services all small businesses need: Tax, Accounting & Payroll.

Employment History

PwC - San Francisco office - 2008 to 2010 Nitax Services, Inc. - 2010 to Present

Education

Bachelors - University of Washington (2007) Masters in Taxation - University of Washington (2008)

Mentoring Objectives & Scope

My goal is to be a mentor for kids and get our firm brand name out there, and I’d like to approach it from two perspectives – 1) as the normal Big 4 route out of college, and the pros and cons of it, and more importantly 2) The entrepreneurial side of running a CPA practice, in case anyone has aspirations of going down that route ( I believe this perspective is where I can bring the most value, and where the MST program may not have anyone from this perspective currently on the team).

Additional Information

I feel that connection is directly related to success. Try and connect with as many people as you can within the industry. Learn from the ones ahead of you, grow with the ones beside you, and hold your hands out for those behind you. I'd love to connect with students and be a mentor, check out my linkedin profile for further info!
