The Center for Ecumenical and Interreligious Engagement (CEIE) at Seattle University
Is rooted in a Jesuit, Catholic commitment to ecumenical and interreligious engagement, spiritual and indigenous pathways, and to cultural wisdom. Students, alumni, faculty, and partners from the university and within these communities serve on CEIE advisory councils.
We serve – The whole student (cura personalis) in university, ecumenical and interreligious communities, and in our work with national and international partners.
We create – The ‘art of encounter,’ (Pope Francis) through monthly webinars, winter and spring workshops, a course on religious literacy, future certificate programs, and other sources of beauty and practical purpose with a “heart open to the world” (Fratelli Tutti).
