Currently the Controller Consultant for Matilock,Inc. Responsible for all accounting matters for the Company including General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting for US, Latin America, and Europe ensuring compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards and regulatory requirements.
Employment History
Prior to joining Matilock,Inc, I was the Assistant Controller for Textainer, a leading intermodal container lessor with 4.3 million TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) in its owned and managed fleet. During my tenure, I was responsible for preparing and reviewing audit schedules/reports for Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting, implementing, and maintaining control procedures and documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. Prior to joining Textainer, I spent 10+ years in multiple startups in various industries such as e-commerce, fleet management, cloud computing, and telecommunications. During my career in these companies, I had held leadership roles including developing accounting processes and financial management policies to accelerate strategic growth, designing and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, leading global office expansion, managing internal and external compliance and regulatory matters.
