Personal Bio
Dr. Asefeh Houshyari completed her Bachelor of Science in Economics at Tehran University, Iran. She moved to Seattle in 1997 and completed her MBA and Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Seattle University. Dr. Houshyari joined Albers as an adjunct faculty member in 2010, teaching Management and then Economics. She also teaches economics, management, and leadership at Cascadia College, Bates Technical College, and Digipen Institute of Technology. In addition to her expertise in business, she brings diversity, an international perspective, and an interdisciplinary background to educational programs and academic development.
