Personal Bio

Ekaterina Emm is a Professor of Finance at Seattle University. She teaches courses in the undergraduate Finance, Bridge MBA and Professional MBA programs. Her research focuses on corporate restructuring and risk management. Her scholarly work has been published in the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Journal of Futures Markets, Journal of Commodity Markets, Journal of Investing and others.

Prior to joining the faculty at Seattle University, Dr. Emm worked as a research associate at the Triangle Research Data Center at Duke University. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Finance from Georgia State University and an undergraduate degree from Boston University.
