TEED-5150 : Critical Reflection for Social Justice: Teaching for Equity

This capstone course engages teacher candidates in a critical reflection in becoming a teacher for social justice as they finalize and present their Teaching for Equity Project. A professional growth plan is created for ongoing development. Elementary teacher candidates register for Section 1 and secondary teacher candidates register for Section 2. Sections may be combined.

Drawing upon the resources of the Catholic tradition, this course will examine the challenges posed by the privileging of the epistemology of the natural sciences and the reality of evil and suffering.
