RISE - Read, Inspire, Support, Educate
RISE: Read, Inspire, Support, Educate. This program develops Seattle University student leaders to read, inspire, support and educate Pre-K scholars in the community, helping them thrive at the beginning of their academic journey.
Family Engagement
The Family Engagement program focuses on the connection between home, school and community, focusing on families who have young scholars enrolled in SUYI mentoring programs. We amplify and center family voices in all of our Redhawk Academic Mentoring Programs (RAMP) at Bailey Gatzert Elementary School, Washington Middle School, Garfield High School and our Change Makers program.
Bailey Gatzert Elementary
Partnering with teachers, administrators, families and caregivers, the Redhawk Academic Mentoring Program (RAMP) at Bailey Gatzert Elementary School seeks to serve a diverse demographic with inclusive instruction, academic excellence, educational justice, and to build strong connections for scholars between school, home and community.
Washington Middle School
The Redhawk Academic Mentoring Program (RAMP) at Washington Middle School aims to be a safe place for students to find support in others to build, grow, and strengthen skills and relationships. We support academic achievement and social-emotional well-being.
Change Makers
The Change Makers program supports scholars in high school and the transition from high school to post-secondary life, emphasizing academic support and personal awareness.
Yesler Terrace Legacy Commitment (YTLC)
