Eunice Lubemba, a senior in the Electrical Engineering department, is featured as the International Student Center’s Student of the Week.
Here is Eunice’s story:
Hello, my name is Eunice Lubemba and I am a senior in the Electrical Engineering department and a Desk Assistant for the International Student Center.
Being a female student engineer makes me realize how unique I am and how I must challenge myself every day. Within my college, I have had the opportunity to attend the society of women engineers conference twice where I met incredible women in engineering who have successfully impacted the world. This boosted my confidence and encouraged me a lot. I am currently working as a power systems intern for the Seattle City Light (I started in June 2019) where I am continually learning a lot about electrical engineering.
