Staff Council Office Hours

Staff Council will introduce office hours starting in December. During office hours, all staff members are invited to discuss concerns and ideas with Council representatives.  If you have any questions, ideas, or input, please drop in at any time during the hour.  Two or more representatives will be available during each session and will identify topics to discuss with the full Council.  Office hours will be offered monthly at different days and times and will include virtual or in-person options.  The first office hour will be Wednesday, December 1st, 12:30-1:30pm, via Zoom

Community Connections

The Staff Council recognizes the importance of connection with each other and being in community, even virtually, especially in these trying times. We highly encourage staff members to engage in the Fall '21 edition of our Community Connections Padlet, an online sharing board centered around the theme of community. We are so excited to see what you all have to share!

Staff Council Special Election
Staff Council's special election to fill our Structural, Non-Exempt seat to serve through June 2023 is open now through 4:30pm on Friday, December 3rd. Please check your email for your personalized link to the ballot. Please review the voters' pamphlet accessed through the Staff Council webpage. If you have questions or concerns, please email staffcouncil@seattleu.edu. Thank you for voting in this special election!

Vice President of Human Resources Search Survey
Staff, along with the entire campus community, are being asked to take part in an online survey to help the search committee find the right person to serve as our new Vice President of Human Resources and serve within Seattle University Cabinet. The survey focuses on what you feel is the right skill set and experience needed for this role. This is a great opportunity to use your voice in providing needed guidance as the search committee embarks on their search. The survey opens today, November 23rd, through December 3rd, and it is accessed at https://forms.office.com/r/0tGVHFXB1N.
