Seattle University academic leaders will host a panel on “AI & Ethics” in downtown Seattle as part of Seattle AI Week, produced by the Washington Technology Industry Association and the Technology Alliance. Seattle AI Week is a series of events (more than 40 in total) highlighting Artificial Intelligence and innovation in Seattle and the Puget Sound region. SU, which has included the social and economic impacts of rapid technological change in its Reimagined Strategic Directions and curriculum revision process, is looking forward to participating in Seattle AI Week.

“This panel will showcase the ongoing work of our faculty around AI for Social Good,” explains Dean of the College of Science and Engineering Amit Shukla who will moderate the discussion. “I invite the SU community to join us as momentum around the AI economy increases globally with Seattle at its core.”
