Empowering Leaders in Women's Health
Seattle University’s Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) Post-Doctoral Certificate program prepares advanced practice nurses to deliver holistic, patient-centered primary and specialized care to women and individuals across the gender spectrum, from adolescence through the adult lifespan.
Our program emphasizes equity in health care, critical thinking and evidence-based practice—grounded in the Jesuit tradition of service and social justice. You’ll gain the advanced clinical and diagnostic skills to provide gynecological care, family planning, prenatal and postnatal care, and health promotion across diverse settings, including clinics, hospitals and community health organizations.

Certification
Graduates are eligible to sit for the Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) certification exam through the National Certification Corporation (NCC).
