About this Program
Studying abroad for a semester at University College Cork (UCC) offers an immersive academic experience in Ireland’s vibrant second-largest city. Students enroll in regular university courses alongside Irish peers, gaining access to a wide range of subjects including Irish culture, history, literature, and sciences. - When you study at University Cork College,you will take courses with local and study abroad students in English across a variety of disciplines. This program is ideal if you want to challenge yourself academically and foster independence. While the university has an international student office for support, some support systems commonly found in U.S. higher education may not be available. USAC supports you with pre-departure advising & support, visa-related guidance, group airport reception, host university student ID, on-site orientation, onsite staff support, 24/7 emergency assistance, campus facilities, comprehensive global medical insurance, centrally located housing, cultural activities, and excursions.
