The Orientation Portal
Your Orientation Portal is a central hub for navigating your transition to college. It is the home of your New Student Checklist and your go-to spot to sign up for virtual and in-person events. We’ll send you emails with updates and reminders to let you know when new tasks become available and when event sign-ups go live. You can access your Orientation Portal by logging into your Admissions Portal and clicking on the "Orientation Portal" button.
ORIENTATION GOALS
We focus our work around one essential question: “What essential information and skills help new students transition successfully to Seattle U?” To answer this question, we use the following goals to guide how we support you:

| Sense of Belonging | Academic Success | Inclusion & Identity | Personal Growth | Self-Reliance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| You will create a connection with SU and build relationships with the peers, faculty, and staff. | You will embrace intellectual passions and explore effective learning habits. | You will engage in reflection about your identities and how to build relationships across differences. | You will explore your values, sense of purpose, and social responsibility. | You will learn to navigate campus, seek support resources, and sustain holistic wellbeing. |
