Shelby has spent the past 20 years working in tech marketing and program management roles at Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta, enjoying time in Microsoft Advertising, Xbox Advertising, Original Equipment Manufacturing, Voice of the Customer, Kindle and devices, Meta Business Suite, and most recently generative AI product development. She loves being at the intersection of customers, product, sales, and engineering, driving innovation and bringing products to market creatively in partnership with great teams.

Mentoring Objectives & Scope

I've worked with prior SU Albers mentees to successfully negotiate job and internship offers, build confidence in networking, narrow in on business career interest and fit, and help guide job search, interview process, and starting a new job/internship successfully. My goal is to help students prepare practically for real life - from figuring out what may be a good job fit to networking, interviewing, and making it happen. Everything I wish I knew as a college student and probably learned the hard way.

I'm passionate about empowering women and parents in the workplace and fostering strong organizational culture. I'm a proud Seattle native and have 3 young daughters.
