Local Relations

The Center for Ecumenical and Interreligious Engagement participates with local and regional agencies in the Pacific Northwest, including the Faith Action Network, Paths to Understanding, and councils of churches and ecumenical and interreligious agencies who provide direct service to people and communities experiencing stress on the margins of society.

Religica Theolab

CEIE's theological laboratory - The Religica Theolab - is a rich website dedicated to promote interfaith dialogue, education, and action. Through the Religica Podcast and other resources, we work to create content that responds to religious violence and emphasizes the importance of interfaith cooperation in addressing global challenges like social justice and climate change. Paths to Understanding

Paths to Understanding is a CEIE 2024-2025 Community Fellow. The nonprofit organization focuses on bridging bias and fostering unity through multi-faith peace-making. Their mission emphasizes equipping local leaders with the knowledge, communication skills, and networks needed to combat hate and misinformation within communities. By bringing people from diverse wisdom traditions such as Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and Indigenous practices together around shared values, they promote empathy, trust, and social justice.
