Kristen Daley Mosier, Ph.D

Kristen Daley Mosier has lived most of her life near the waters of the Salish Sea. She earned an MDiv with Fuller Seminary Northwest, then a PhD in Theology and Ethics from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Kristen is a preacher and ecotheologian who has written on baptismal ethics, the Flint Water Crisis, and ways to connect with the more-than-human world using prayers and practices from the Christian tradition. Her particular focus has been around the waters of baptism as a point of ecumenical conversations.

As an educator in adult formation and higher education spaces, Kristen encourages student participants to draw from their own lived experience as a guide, recognizing not only the varieties of knowledge that emerge but also the physical and geographic locations. A keen observer of culture, ecosystems, and faith, in her writing and preaching she seeks to help others become more grounded in who they are and where they reside.
