Biography
Bonnie Wang received her Master of Social Work at the University of Washington. She has over 15 years of experience working with individuals affected by substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. Bonnie is a Washington Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP), and Nationally credentialed Master Addiction Counselor (MAC). She has taught addiction related courses to undergraduates and postgraduates in different colleges as adjunct faculty. She is interested in decreasing stigma around mental health and substance use disorders.
She also facilitates Adult, Teen, and Youth Mental Health First Aid courses to the public in the King County area. Bonnie’s current professional work is the Director of Children, Youth, and Families Mental Health Program at Asian Counseling and Referral Services (ACRS).
