The Redhawks will play the UW in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Seattle University men's soccer captured a record sixth Western Athletic Conference title, defeating San Jose State, 3-0, on November 16. Three different players scored their first goals of the season as the Redhawks dominated the Spartans to punch their ticket to the NCAA tournament for the second straight season.
The team now will set its sights on crosstown rivals the University of Washington as the Redhawks will play the Huskies on Thursday, November 21, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning (November 19) at 9 a.m. This will mark back-to-back appearances in the big dance for the first time in the program’s modern Division I history.
With this latest championship the team set a conference record for the most championship wins of any men’s soccer program in WAC history. It also kept the program's perfect title match record intact, now 6-0.
