The Seattle University community welcomes Tom Bull as the new Assistant Vice President of Alumni Engagement. Bull began his new role on July 21.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the Seattle University community,” says Bull. “I’m incredibly grateful for the warm welcome I’ve already received and honored to step into this role alongside such a dedicated and passionate division.”

To this role Bull brings more than 20 years of higher education experience, most recently serving as the Executive Director of the Edmonds College Foundation where he led strategic fundraising initiatives, expanded donor engagement and championed student support programs. Previously, Bull was the Executive Director of the Portland State Alumni Association for more than a decade, creating a vibrant and inclusive alumni association, launching signature programs and strengthening ties between the university and its global alumni network.

Bull holds a bachelor’s in organizational development from Loyola University Chicago and a master’s in strategic communications and business development from Northwestern. He also currently serves on the Loyola Alumni Board.

“In every conversation I’ve had so far, it’s clear that Seattle University is a place grounded in purpose, community and a deep commitment to supporting students and alumni alike,” Bull says. “I’m excited to contribute to that mission and to collaborate across the division as we build new opportunities for engagement and connection.”
