President Peñalver ushers in the new academic year with a welcome message to new and returning students, who have been busy with classes and memory-making moments.
As students and the campus community settle into fall quarter, President Eduardo Peñalver delivers a welcoming message highlighting Seattle University’s progress and opportunities in the year ahead. The president touches on an exciting time for the university, from being back as a member of the West Coast Conference to the establishment of Cornish College of the Arts at Seattle University. The president also addresses the challenges and opportunities in higher education.
“I’m looking forward to a great academic year and to Seattle University continuing to be a place that’s moving forward, that’s innovating and that’s empowering leaders for a just and humane world,” President Peñalver says.
