Seattle U Spirit

As a pep band member, you'll be vital in lifting up the crowd and rallying our teams to victory. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just looking for a fun way to stay connected to your musical roots, the Seattle U Pep Band is your stage to shine. From energizing the crowd at basketball games to bringing the beat to local events, this is your chance to be part of something truly special.

We welcome musicians who play any of the following instruments: Piccolo, Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, Mellophone, Trombone, Baritone, Sousaphone (or Bass Guitar) and Drum Kit. Seattle University can provide piccolos, mellophones and baritones if you don't have your own.

Do you like to dance and cheer on the home team? Take part in either our Cheer or Dance team or both. These are Co-ed teams that perform at all men’s and women’s basketball home games, select additional athletic events, campus events and also make local community appearances.

Are you a party pumper who loves to entertain? Audition to be our official university mascot Rudy Redhawk. You will perform and appear at select athletics events in conjunction with the cheer and dance teams. You may also make appearances at community events by request.
