About this Degree
Seattle University’s Theology and Religious Studies program invites you to explore life’s deepest questions and reflect on your own spiritual and ethical journey. You’ll study diverse traditions, beliefs and practices while gaining the skills to think critically about faith, culture and meaning.
Rooted in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition, the program fosters dialogue between Christianity, other world religions, and secular perspectives. You’ll choose a specialization in either Christian Theology or Comparative Religion, engaging topics such as ethics, spirituality, sacred texts and ritual as you prepare to contribute thoughtfully to a pluralistic world.
