I am delighted to announce that Jordan Talge has been appointed Vice President and University Counsel, a role in which he will continue to provide exceptional leadership and legal guidance for Seattle University.

I am delighted to announce that Jordan Talge has been appointed Vice President and University Counsel, a role in which he will continue to provide exceptional leadership and legal guidance for Seattle University. In this role, Jordan serves as SU’s chief legal officer, providing strategic guidance on all legal matters, governance, compliance, and risk management for the university and its Board of Trustees.
Jordan joined Seattle University in 2016 after several years in private practice and has been serving as Interim Vice President and University Counsel since September. In his prior roles at SU, Jordan has:

Provided primary legal support to Facilities, including major projects such as Vi Hilbert Hall and the Sinegal Center.

Supported all aspects of Human Resources, including benefits, compensation, and employee relations.

Led the university in responding to legal and administrative agency matters as they arise.
