Living Our Mission on Campus and Beyond
MotMot Coffee is an award-winning student-created social enterprise that is run from the campus of Seattle University. MotMot is ethically sourced Nicaraguan coffee. Students hired to the project gain unparalleled experience in global business and ethical company management. MotMot takes a student's skills out of the classroom and into the real world by providing experiential learning in developing countries, all the while encouraging other Seattle University students to become ethical consumers. MotMot took second place in the Harriet Stephenson Business Plan Competition in 2017 and was a semi-finalist in the Social Venture Partners 2017 competition. In 2018, MotMot Coffee was awarded the ASIANetwork’s Freeman Foundation Student-Faculty Fellowship.
