Summer Orientation is a hybrid experience that includes online tasks, virtual workshops, and in-person events on campus. We’ll send you weekly emails with updates and reminders to let you know when new tasks become available and when event sign-ups go live. Please click each of the month below to review important dates to help guide your way.

  • Monday, May 6, 2024: Orientation Launches! Your Orientation Portal goes live and you can submit your Housing Plan.
  • Monday, May 13, 2024: You’ll receive Advising and Registration instructions to register for Fall classes.
  • Monday, May 20, 2024: RSVPs for Redhawk Launch go live! Sign up to join us on-campus in July.
  • Saturday, June 1, 2024: Enrollment Deposit Deadline
  • Monday, June 3, 2024: The summer virtual event schedule goes live, and the roommate search opens for students who have applied to live in on-campus Housing.
  • Wednesday, June 12, 2024: Log on to Redhawk Roundup, our virtual summer kickoff!
  • Monday, June 24-Friday, June 28, 2024: Academic Advising Workshops for First-Year Students (virtual)
  • Monday, July 1-Tuesday, July 2, 2024: Redhawk Launch Session #1 (in-person)

Virtual Events Schedule

The virtual Orientation events schedule includes the following opportunities to connect with fellow Redhawks and learn about campus resources:

  • Flock Talks: Join these virtual meetups to connect with fellow new Redhawks while chatting with an Orientation Leader about topics related to your transition to college life.
  • Campus Resource Workshops: Throughout the summer, you can participate in workshops where you’ll meet with university leaders to learn about academic, financial, and support resources.
  • Student Club Socials: In August and early September, meet current Redhawks to learn about clubs and organizations you can join on campus.

How do I sign up for virtual Orientation events?

Students can sign up for virtual events in their Orientation Portal. You can also review the list of events below and click "Sign Up Here" to visit your Orientation Portal and sign up.

Who can attend virtual Orientation events?

Flock Talks and Student Club Socials are only for new students. Campus Resource Workshops are for new students and their parents, families, and supporters. When students sign up for Campus Partner Sessions, they can submit contact information to invite a guest to join. Sessions specifically for parents, families, and supporters are listed on our Family and Supporters page.
