Sustainability in Academics

Guided by our strategic directions, Seattle University has developed a curriculum that equips students to engage with the interconnected, global challenges of climate change and sustainability. The university offers six undergraduate programs centered on sustainability, alongside more than 500 courses that integrate sustainability themes across disciplines. Over 80 faculty members actively contribute to sustainability research, and the CEJS Fellowship program fosters collaborative scholarship in environmental justice and sustainability for both students and faculty.
