Heat the long middle bar for approximately 10 minutes (using, say, the propane torch). The increasing heat will cause the bar to expand, to tighten the wing nut during heating. After sufficient heating, remove the heat. The bolt will break due to shrinking of the bar during cooling (3-10 minutes).
