Biography

Debra Robinson Baker is passionate about developing one of the world’s most precious resources – People! She has a successful history of serving and leading in various roles and organizations. Her experience includes serving adults, youth, and families in the criminal legal system as a social service director. Debra has six years of experience working in government. Most recently, she served a nine-month term in King County Public Health in the height of the pandemic as part of the COVID-19, HMAC Community Mitigation Branch and Recovery Team leading work that supported businesses, non-profits, and behavioral health communities. Debra’s areas of expertise include transformation development, brain-based group facilitation, instructional design, coaching, social work practices, trauma, and racialized trauma. Her engaging conversations on race and being Black in America are said to be compelling. Debra is considered by her peers, audiences, and students to be a servant and sage with a deep interest in human development.
