Two past HSBPC winners were just accepted into the latest WTIA Founder Cohort.

Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) is a 1,000-technology company association working together to build a robust, equity-centered technology sector that empowers thriving communities. Also, their Accelerator Founder Cohort program helps 20-25 venture-scale, seed-stage startups grow and scale over the course of 6 months.

Anna Del Toro and Kathleen Pow worked together on their Ellebit project during the 2022 HSBPC. Ellebit transforms the way restaurants and restaurant clients manage their private dining and catering needs. Eliminating time-consuming aspects of private dining booking through the automation of venue and menu selection. Their teamwork resulted in the HSBPC 1st prize! Additionally, MODICA, led by Will Gibbs, won the Tradeshow Judge Award in 2020. Modica’s thriving business relies on updating severely outmoded factory design and deployment workflows. Both teams will be participating in the Accelerator as a result of their past wins.

As The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center we are extremely proud of our past participants and their successful local startups and wish them the best of luck in this new journey with the WTIA!
