Learn About The Application Process

Students planning to study abroad are required to coordinate with the Education Abroad Office prior to departure. Please ensure that you have attended an info session, met with your Education Abroad advisor, and thoroughly researched the compatibility of your program with your degree requirements before submitting an application. If you have any questions prior to applying to your program, please contact the Education Abroad Office to speak with your advisor - Our advisors work one-on-one with students to find a program that fits their academic, personal, and professional needs. 

Read through all the details thoroughly in the application timeline below with another interested party - like a parent or guardian - about the program you are interested in.

Pre-Departure Paperwork Deadline*

Prior to departure EAO will assist study abroad participants with getting courses pre-approved. More information is available on how Course Approval works in the "Before Departure" Section.

 *There is a late fee of $125 for required forms submitted after the deadline. Failure to submit a required form before the program start-date will result in a $250 fee and will seriously jeopardize your eligibility to participate. Late fee is only applicable to pre-departure forms.
