CEJS Winter Happy Hour - Dr. Cosgrove, Dr. Curtis, and Dr. Murphy

Description: Come hear from 3 CEJS Faculty Fellows in one evening! Dr. Cosgrove and Dr. Curtis will be discussing poverty alleviation in Costa Rica, and then Dr. Murphy will be discussing the implementation of environmentally responsible biomedical laboratory practices and nonradioactive alternatives to pharmacological research. Appetizers and drinks will be provided!

TWO Important Race and Climate Justice Workshops

When: Saturday, October 18, 2014 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM OR Monday, October 20th, 2014 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Where: Church Council of Greater Seattle, 4820 S. Morgan Street, Seattle
Description: These two FREE workshops both emphasize important issues in today's cultural climate. Saturday's workshop will focus on "Climate Change Mind Set: Why a Critical Racial Justice Mindset is Essential for Effective Climate Justice," while Monday's will be "A Deeper Dive: Exploring the Complicated Connections of Racial Justice and Climate Justice and Corresponding Pathways for Action." You are welcome to attend both sessions! These workshops will be put on by the Hackman Consulting Group.
